I had searched a lot for finding if there is a simple solution to send SMS to any mobile in India through Internet. Finally i got two nice solutions.
Go to www.aasma.com No Registration! just go and send. but only 3 SMS per day to any mobile in India.- Then download chikka messenger from india times.

Register and you will be sent a confirm code to your mobile and you are done after entering. It has something like a yahoo messenger where you can store contacts, chat online, send SMS etc. Here also there is a limit like 15 sms per day to any mobile in India.
